Music and Visuals

Music is a lovely way off adding personal detail to a funeral service. Wherever the funeral service is held it will be possible to play music on either a music system or portable speakers.

At some venues such as church or the crematorium it will be possible to arrange an organist to play the organ to accompany hymns.

If you prefer to have a live choir, performer or musician to play at a funeral service this can also be arranged. In the past we have had a male voice choir raising the roof of the crematorium, bagpipes played as the hearse arrives at church, a delicate flute played as a coffin is lowered at the Eternal Forest and a trumpet played as the mourners left the crematorium and placed a rose on top of the coffin. The possibilities are endless.

Wherever the funeral is being held we can arrange to have visual tributes during the service.

At the crematorium we use the Obitus system for visual tributes, these include:

A Single Photo is a picture of your loved one that can be shown on your venue’s screens throughout the service, or at a selected time.

Music Tributes are a compelling way to show a life well lived. Obitus’ Music Tribute gives you the opportunity to set your photos perfectly to your choice of music. The video can be played at your chosen time during the funeral service for a truly powerful moment of reflection.

We are also happy to create simple photo slideshows in-house which can be shown on a screen during the service.

These options are usually used at a crematorium service but may be available elsewhere, we would be happy to arrange this for you with hired equipment if the venue does not offer this as a default.
