Floral Tributes
Floral tributes can be a really special way of adding detail and personality to a funeral.
We work with local florists who create beautiful traditional floral tributes including letters, wreaths, coffin sprays and floral pillows. These can be personalised to your preferences and specific colours and flowers can be used to ensure the tributes reflect the preferences of your loved one.
It is also possible to have alternatives to traditional floral tributes if you wish, below are some examples.
Environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional floral tributes
We offer a range of seasonal floral tributes made in-house by our team, to reflect your preferences but also considering the seasonality and local availability of plants and flowers.
At our ‘field of dreams’ on Anglesey we grow and nurture a large variety of flowers and plants that can be used for floral tributes all year around, we also work with other growers where needed to ensure that we have year long access to local flowers.
We can create letters, wreaths, coffin sprays, floral displays in reusable receptacles and posies using moss and willow as an alternative to traditional methods. We can also offer a range of living wreaths which can be re-planted after a funeral to be enjoyed for years to come.

Reusable tributes for hire
We have a variety of both floral and non-floral reusable tributes that can be hired from as little as £10.
Our collection includes dried flower wreaths, ceramic flower bouquets and felt wildlife sculptures. Each are suitable to be placed on a coffin or along side a coffin where traditional floral tributes may otherwise be used.
These options offer choice and the opportunity to add detail to a funeral without the added cost of floral displays.

Other personal items
You may want to consider using personal items instead of having floral tributes at the funeral, this could include:
- Placing a loved one’s guitar on top of their coffin instead of flowers
- Attaching photos of them, or photos that they have taken to their coffin as decoration
- If they played or loved sports you could drape their favourite sports tops over their coffin
- Having their golf clubs on top of their coffin or their golf caddy next to the lectern at the funeral
- A small table with their favourite bits, or things they were never seen without on display. A pair of glasses? Packet of mints? Embroidered hanky? Lipstick? Or their favourite hat maybe?
